SPONSORSHIP

The obvious goal of the ‘Alice to Dakar’ team is to participate in the 2009 event Jan 03rd-18th.

To ensure we are able to do so, it will involve a cash investment of which we are now actively seeking a sponsor. Our preferable choice is to have one main sponsor (or company that has an umbrella of brands) in which we can use in all of the following avenues;

• Branding of logo ‘Sponsor name - Alice to Dakar’
• Team name ‘Sponsors name - Racing Team’
• All Media releases to have sponsors name as its part of the logo
• All radio and TV will be referred to as ‘Sponsor name – Alice to Dakar’ racing team
• All photos will be issued to sponsor to use for promotional reasons
• Complete branding of Buggy in sponsor colours and logos
•  All team members will wear sponsors racing colours and logos
• Branding in sponsors corporate colours and logo’s on following items
  - racing uniforms
  - helmets
  - microphones which are in camera view
• ‘Sponsor name – Alice to Dakar’ website created and branded in sponsor colours and logos
• Use of Buggy for promotional events and functions
• Use of Driver for promotional events throughout Australia
• Use of Driver for public speaking before and after event
• Once documentary is confirmed all footage will have sponsors name visible where possible throughout footage
• Driver (Scott) is writing a book on the story, sponsors name to be used throughout
• SMS alerts throughout race of where we are in race. This can be to numerous people nominated by company
• Live website updates of our location and times.

This list is a small representation of what the ‘Alice to Dakar‘ team is willing to do to ensure we have one major sponsor.  We, of course will have smaller local donations (time, good will etc) of which will warrant a place on the website. We want to focus on branding the sponsor for the next 7 months and hopefully for years to come with the acceptance of a documentary of which we are trying to lock in with some major TV channels.  

We are open to requests, suggestions and of course will adapt to the sponsors requests were possible to ensure we are all working towards the common goal of creating history..!

Scott would like to thank you in advance and realise this is just the beginning with many questions. We want to get this going as soon as possible to ensure maximum expose, as when we announce that we are going to Dakar, we are expecting a lot of media interest.
